The Fox Den: No Waste Cafe & Roastery

A zero-waste cafe and roastery on Laporte Ave where every cup of coffee comes in a reusable mug or jar. Patricia Acheson built The Fox Den around a simple idea: you can serve incredible coffee without contributing to single-use waste. They roast all their beans in-house, source locally and organically, and have created a cozy community space that hosts live music, open mics, and events.

✦Why we love them: The Fox Den's no-waste philosophy and our traditional skills mission come from the same place — a belief that the old ways of doing things (reusable vessels, whole ingredients, community gathering) are worth preserving. Plus, their house-made lavender and rosemary syrups are something special.
